The adapter was delivered to California in about a week. I tested with my 2017 Nissan Leaf at EVGO, Chargepoint, and Electrify America, which are the common chargers in this area and all worked perfectly! Simply plug in adapter, then charger, and start on the app — no buttons to push or anything special. Moreover, the build quality is good and the included storage case is a welcome feature. The adapter does have an onboard computer and battery, which are chargeable via USB-C, so you do have to recharge it occasionally. However there is a cigarette lighter adapter with a very long cord which was thoughtfully included, so if your adapter is dead, you can connect it to your car to use right away (the cord will reach from the dashboard, through the window, all the way to the charge port). For how well it works and what is included, I feel this is a good value and recommend it without reservation.
